These past few days I’ve been all about cuddling in my blanket, eating snacks, wearing hoodies, drinking tea and keeping my air conditioner on the warm side.

You can definitely say I’m taking this winter too far too soon, but one thunder is really all it takes for me to decide I’m staying home at least until march.

Up until then, I’ll take comfort at the small pleasures of avocado and purple lipstick, wear my bottle- green coat, watch re-runs of “Friends” episodes, gain some pounds on my hips and snack on some lentil soup that made it all the way from my parents house in Haifa.

The bodysuit in these photos was bought by my mom when I was still a noisy little girl with a high-side ponytail sometime back in the nineties.

When I try to reflect on who shaped my fashion consciousness, and everything I know about aesthetics and all that’s beautiful, pretty much immediately all focus is on my mom.

It’s been a long time since I’ve had a high-side ponytail, and yet my mom is still the most beautiful woman on earth, and my ultimate fashion icon.

אפשר לומר שלקחתי את החורף רחוק מדי מוקדם מדי, אבל בשבילי רעם אחד זה מספיק כדי להחליט שאני לא יוצאת מהבית לפחות עד מרץ.
עד שיגיע מרץ, אתנחם בהנאות שבאבוקדו ובאודם סגול, אלבש את מעילי הירוק בקבוק, אראה שידורים חוזרים של “חברים”, אעלה כמה קילוגרמים לירכיים ואנשנש קצת מרק עדשים שעשה את כל הדרך מבית הוריי שבחיפה.

את בגד הגוף שבתמונות קנתה אמא שלי, אי שם בניינטיז כשעוד הייתי זאטוטה רעשנית עם קוקו לצד.

כשאני מנסה לחשוב מי עיצב את התודעה האופנתית שלי ואת כל מה שאני יודעת על אסתטיקה ואהבה לכל מה שיפה, די מהר המחשבות שלי מתפקסות על אמא.

וגם עכשיו, כבר מזמן בלי קוקו לצד אמא שלי היא עדיין האישה הכי יפה בעולם, ואייקון האופנה הפרטי שלי.
