One of my favorite things about being a blogger, is of course the non stop traveling “for work”. Well, after that, another big thing to be grateful for is the occasional chance to collaborate with brands that speak my fashion language. When I get to combine the two together that’s when I’m at my happiest.

Recently I got to do this fun project with Medusa, which is a super chic brand that makes vegan & eco-friendly urban bags, that featured all of the above. The girls (and mastertalents) of Medusa understood my traveling craze without me needing to explain it and off we ran. I took my “Medusas” from city to nature and basically had tons of stylish fun. Although made with a signature style & concept in mind, the bags are so versatile and serve for many different needs. This post is the first of our two parts collaboration and I absolutely love how it turned out and so excited to release it for you all to see.

With a long ride ahead of us, I chose this gold/ beige envelope clutch to keep me company. Just perfect for all the essentials you need for a train or plane ride. You know how once in a blue moon you find that perfect bag that appears to be small but can actually fit an entire life story? this one is it. Perfect place for your passport, makeup refreshers and even an iPad or kindle for moments of extreme bordom. I used it as a clutch but there is a removeable strap so you can also carry it on your shoulder. Btw, I highly recommend checking out the girls gold collection, although this may lead to some dangerous addictions, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Every trip, domestic or other, needs a day or two spent close to nature. I usually do it for my better half so I leave it to him to find our hiking routes and I spend most my time bitching and complaining about everything from the heat to my hair looking frizzy. I’m cute that way. Anyhow, for this nature moment I carried Poly with me and was so happy with my choice. The bag was super light and I could hardly feel it which is an important quality (and the first thing my mom taught me I should look for) when choosing a bag.

For our urban vacation I took the gold/ white Rio bag (By now it’s no news I have a thing for gold). The Rio backpack is such a “cool girl” bag that I felt so super confident wearing it. Its colors make it perfect for the summer in the city life, and for a girl like me who literally carries her entire home in her bag (Fun fact: Max’s nickname for me is “turtle”, just saying) this one is the perfect pick for a long day of touristic adventures, and we sure love those.

Pt.2 turned out beautiful and is well on its way. Meanwhile, I love a fun surprise as much as the next girl, that’s why I’m so happy about this one.
