Our Wedding - Getting Ready | Why Delilah?
"Eat, Drink and Be Married!" That was the caption written on a pub sitting right outside of our Budapest Airbnb apartment and I loved how symbolic it felt given the fact that was our first trip as newly weds. Max and I recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary, and boy what a year it was. Almost five months into wedded bliss now, our wedding day was everything we ever dared to wish for and more. 70’s Spirit

One of life's most basic rules is: Always go for the killer dress. This look was something I wanted to try for a good while now and a weekend of  binge watching "Vinyl" and obsessing about Olivia Wilde and some 70's fashion nostalgia made me want it even more.  When I saw this dress while searching online for good "investments" I knew it was meant to be. Although this fabric is not the most forgiving, this dress is a great favorite and coming back to this summer's burning subject, I wore this look to a close friend's wedding and was feeling extra gorgeous.  To complete the look I went with this long golden necklace by Shlomit Ofir that I actually purchased because I could envision it  going perfectly with the dress...

Red Lip, White Shirt

As you all know well by now, I'm all about great basics and classics and my style is very much based around those iconic pieces you can't ever go wrong with. I shared my favorite classics on the blog many times now, but somehow I don't think I ever got to write about this one, and it's about time!  I'm talking about the ever- lasting- always- working combo: White shirt, red lip, blue jeans.  Try it.
