Why Delilah ft Gal Halfon 2015 Winter Collection

Every now and then thanks to writing this blog, I get the chance to meet the most talented people. The invitation to Gal Halfon’s blogger event came in great timing as I felt like her design aesthetic fits perfectly with my current wardrobe choices. Unfortunately, it was also time for my yearly flu.

Soon after, all better and super excited, I arrived at Gal’s boutique, where I met her and Chedva (Who along with Gal organized the blogger party, and our meeting too) and got an up close and personal glimpse at Gal’s beautiful winter collection.
It didn’t take longer than a minute I think for me to fall in love with the boutique’s design and whole vibe. You can tell pretty much right away that the place is a complete labor of love, filled with tons of creativity and thought behind every detail.

I could already tell by looking through her website that I’m going to LOVE this collection, and it was even greater in person. Probably my favorite thing about it, is the fact that it’s easy to wear. You can easily take almost every look in this collection from day to night in minutes. That my friends, is priceless, especially during this time of year.

As usual I immediately gravitated towards the clean, more quiet designs. My personal favorites were this beautiful black vest and the Blue Safari Dress which I totally had my eye on, so it’s only a matter of time for me. Also loved Gal’s take on winter kimonos.

ההזמנה למסיבת הבלוגריות של גל חלפון הגיעה אליי בתזמון מושלם עם הרצון הגובר לדייק את המלתחה לכדי מינימליזם נקי ומושלם (כנראה שהתבגרתי), אבל כדרכו של עולם לרגל המאורע תפסתי וירוס חצוף ונותרתי בבית, מקווה ש”כל עכבה לטובה” זו לא פיקציה שהמציאה אמא שלי.

ובכן, הייתי צריכה לדעת עד עכשיו כבר שאמא שלי תמיד צודקת. לא הרבה אחרי ההתאוששות המסחררת שלי, הגעתי לחנות של גל במתחם שרונה לקפה אינטימי, שם נפגשתי עם גל וחדוה (שיחד עם גל ארגנה את מסיבת הבלוגריות, ומאוחר יותר גם את המפגש שלנו) הנהדרות וזכיתי להכיר את הקולקציה מקרוב. כבר במבט ראשון על החנות התאהבתי וקצת רציתי לבכות שלא הבאתי איתי מצלמה. מיד בכניסה ברור לעין שמדובר בחנות שהוקמה באהבה ואינסוף יצירתיות מהסוג שמזיז אצלי משהו.

כמו שכבר זיהיתי משיטוט באתר שלה (התמכרות לשופינג אונליין במסווה של עבודת בלוגינג יסודית), היו בחנות לא מעט בגדים שקראו בשם שלי והמוטיב החוזר שמשך אותי ברבים מהפריטים הוא שהם פשוט קלים ללבישה. כאלה שלא צריכים מתכון מלבד להתעורר, ללבוש ולצאת מהבית, וזה ידידיי, איז פרייסלס.
כהרגלי נמשכתי באופן מיידי לפריטים היותר נקיים ושקטים כששניים שבלטו במיוחד היו וסט שחור יפהפה ושמלת הספארי הכחולה שיכולה לסגור לי כל כך הרבה פינות בארון ככה שזה רק עניין של זמן עד שהיא תהיה חייבת להיות שלי ואני סקרנית ללבוש אותה דווקא לקראת תחילת האביב. פייבוריטים נוספים שלי בחנות היו קימונואים חורפיים בצבעים נייטרליים מושלמים.

Gal has this vibrant pink outlook on life, and although I’m not a pink kind of girl, you can’t help but love her approach which comes to life in every aspect of her creations.

My evening with Gal and Chedva was so much fun and was totally worth opening my umbrella for.

גל בוחרת לראות את החיים בורוד, ועד כמה שאני לא בחורה של ורוד קשה להישאר אדישים לגישה הזו שנשקפת מכל פינה בעשייה שלה. הערב שלי עם גל וחדוה, שתי נשים לגמרי מרשימות, בדיוק כמו הנשים להן גל מעצבת, היה באמת כיף גדול, כזה שהיה שווה לפתוח מטרייה בשבילו.

אז אם אתן באזור (וגם אם לא), החנות של גל במבנה 128 של מתחם שרונה באמת שווה את הביקור. ממש מעל קפה לנדוור, מאמינה בכן. המידות מגוונות (34-48) והאווירה מושלמת.
