Sometimes I feel like Max holds all the answers to life and instead of finding them out I’m spending my best years in life, so they say, worrying.
From my Asos order (why is it still processing?) to my future career, every little thing is a cause for major panic and the “what if’s” scenarios I run through my head are everything from wild to impressive.
Meanwhile, he falls asleep next to me the second he lays his head on the pillow and even his relaxed breathing makes me so jealous.
Maybe this spring I’ll finally be sleeping better, wrapped in my white T and laziness uniform, which are now called spring uniforms.
This spring is all about comfy trends and I guess it was inevitable for me to fall into this dreamy wave of frump.
Maybe this spring, I too will realize my life answers are all concealed in a white T, although the chances of that are similar to the ones of me liking Matzot at passover, or mashed potatos, but well, maybe.
Life is full of surprises at spring.
לפעמים נראה לי שמקס מחזיק בכל התשובות לחיים ובמקום לגלות אותן אני מבלה את השנים הכי יפות שלי, כך אומרים, בדאגה. מההזמנה שלי באסוס (למה היא עדיין פרוססינג?) לעתיד המקצועי שלי, כל דבר הוא סיבה לפאניקה ותרחישי ה”מה אם?” שאני מסוגלת לגולל פרועים עד מרשימים ממש.
בינתיים הוא נרדם לצדי ברגע שהוא מניח את הראש ואפילו בנשימות הרגועות שלו אני מקנאה.
אולי האביב הזה יעזור לי לישון, עטופה בחולצה לבנה ובמדי העצלות, שעכשיו אפשר כבר לקרוא להם מדי האביב.
האביב הזה כל כולו הוקדש לטרנדים שבהם אמורים להרגיש בנוח ובשבילי זה היה די בלתי נמנע ליפול אל תוך גל חלומי של שלומפריות.
אולי באביב הזה אגלה גם אני שכל התשובות לחיים טמונות בחולצה לבנה, אם כי הסיכוי הוא זהה לזה שאתחיל לאהוב מצות, או פירה, אבל אולי. החיים מלאי הפתעות באביב.

wonderfully written…to tell you the truth, there were too many 'what if' scenarios in my head as well lately and what you have written captures perfectly how I feel. Spring always makes me restless, sometimes in a good and a creative way, sometimes in a 'you need to slow down' way. ( and his peaceful breathing also makes me jealous, especially when I have another attack of insomnia)
